Pokemon of the Week: Charmander
Obviously prefers hot places. When it rains, steam is said to spout from the tip of its tail.
The flame on its tail shows the strength of its life force. If it is weak, the flame also burns weakly.If it is healthy the flame burns brightly, even if it gets wet.
Type: Fire
Ability: Blaze
Evolution Chain: Charmander --> Charmeleon (Lv. 16) --> Charizard (Lv. 36)

Vena, Tommy, and Brea arrived at the Pokemon Center after their encounter with Kitra and Team Onyx. Vena set Karma's pokeball on the counter, as Tommy set Adam's pokeball next to Karma's. "Excuse me, Nurse Joy, we need our pokemon healed, and a room key please," Vena said, and Nurse Joy nodded and smiled. She handed each of them a room key, but they were all for the same room.
"Your pokemon will be better by morning, and we only have one room left tonight. I hope you won't mind," Nurse Joy said, and Vena shook her head and smiled. "No, that's fine," she smiled.

Brea gave Pichu a kiss to the forehead before turning her over to Nurse Joy, without returning her to her pokeball. She took one of the room keys,"Thank you,Nurse Joy." Brea wondered how the nurse could keep on smiles when they had just laid such injured pokemon in front of her.

Tommy and Vena quickly found the room number they were supposed to use. "Room 27," Vena murmured, looking through the numbers. "There it is!" Tommy pointed, as the black numbers '27' were on the doorframe. Vena slid her key into the lock, and opened the door. The room was fairly large, with two bunkbeds. Ray and Shock giggled, as the dashed up the ladder to one of the bunks and peeked down at the others. Sammy thought it looked like great fun, so he climbed up after them.
"I'm glad they're getting along," Vena laughed, as she sat on the bottom bunk of the other bed. Sammy sat on the bottom of the Pokemon's bunk. He smiled, hearing the pokemon giggling above him. He was glad they were feeling in such a good mood after what had happened earlier.

Brea took the other top bunch, glad to get the spot she preferred without have to ask for it or take it. She let Luki from his pokeball and he swung from one top bunch to the other, to join the other pokemon in playing. Brea pulled Aideen out of her backpack,who curled up and hid under the covers. She climbed back down the ladder and stored the backpack in a drawer. Aideen squeaked and it reminded Brea of something,"Shall we get dinner?"

Vena's stomach growled at the mention of a meal. "Yeah, we should get something to eat," she replied, as she got up from her bunk. She tucked her backpack under the bunk and streched.
"Yeah, it feels like it's been forever since I last ate," Tommy agreed, also getting up. He looked up at the pokemon on top of his bunk. "We'll bring some food back for you guys, okay?" he said, and the three nodded back, happily awaiting their meals. The trainers then headed out of the room and back to the lobby, to get their food.

"We will be back soon with your food,"Brea promised them,picked up Aideen and her pokeball before they left the room, as she would never willingly part with her. She asked them both,"What type of food do you think we should have?"
The moment that the trainers had left the room, Loki began the destruction of it.

Vena's stomach grumbled again at the mention of food. "Something really filling, like a thick juicy burger..." she murmured, her mouth watering at the thought of it. Tommy nodded, a burger sounding good. "Maybe some type of pasta too..." he added, and Vena nodded wholeheartedly.

Brea smiled,"If you want something filling as well as those two food choices, and my food choice, anything sea food, we should try to locate a buffet. One that will allow pokemon to enter,"she added looking down at Aideen."It will make it easier to bring food for the others as well."

"Yeah, a buffet sound good. Great in fact," Vena replied, thinking of the even wider selection of food. Her mouth continued watering. Tommy nodded as well. "Let's go!" he announced, as the three headed out of the Pokemon Center in search of food.
There was a small buffet on the opposite street from the Pokemon Center. Tommy walked up to it and checked the sign that was in the window. "Hey! Guys! This one allows Pokemon!" he called, and Vena quickly dashed through the door.

Brea let out a small giggle at seeing the enthusiasm they seemed to have for food."Since I doubt that you could wait in line,why don't you go ahead and get your meal? I will wait in line and treat you." As she pulled out a coin purse she patted Aideen on the head, who looked up at her with a look that read 'why do I have to wait,too?.'

Vena smiled back at Brea. "Thanks, Brea! I'm really gonna owe you one after this!" she exclaimed, as she dashed to grab a plate for her food. Tommy laughed as he watched Vena dash off. "I'm not too hungry, so I'll wait in line with you," he said, as Vena began piling her plate.

"Thank you,"Brea smiled at him. The line was short and went quick, and most of the wait was Brea counting out the dollars for the meal. She accepted the tray for holding food and the cups for drinks.Their was also a pokemon food bowl and a drink dish."Oh. She left before telling us what drink she takes..."She glanced at the soda fountain. She took a Cola and a fruit punch, hoping that she'd pick on of them,,then filled Aideen's up with milk. "Tommy?Which drink do you want?"

Tommy glanced up at the soda fountain, until he found what he wanted. "I'll probably have a fruit punch too," he said, pausing to think a moment. He ran over to Vena, talked with her for a moment, then ran back over to Brea. "Also, Vena would like a lemonade," he finished.
Vena now had two plates, a smaller one for her burger and some fries, and a larger one which contained two chicken strips, a small bowl of tomato soup, a couple of crackers, and three ribs drenched in barbeque sauce. She chose a booth that would be large enough for the three of them and sat down. Tommy caught a peek of her plates and his eyes widened. "She must be a bottomless pit..." he murmured in amazement.

Brea nodded ang quickly exchanged the Cola for a glass of lemonade. "It is lucky that we choose a buffet, or we may not have had the money for all this,"She commented with a smile as she began walking the tray to the large booth. She set Aideen on the table to the side of her with her drink bowl and took a plate for herself. She choose a siding of shrimp, a fresh bun, and a fruit selection of apple,orange, and pear slices, knowing that as Vena took her plates at once, the table would only have space for one plate for her. She also gave the same fruit to Aideen.
